P90X

As part of my renewal of self, in addition to looking for a better/more challenging job, I've started P90X with my beloved wife. It's quite challenging physically, but I feel tons better and am stronger, and have already lost my love handles and it's only Day 11. Very good stuff.

It's the hardest workout I've done since Rugby circa 1995 P.K. (Pre-Kiama). I highly recommend it to any of my fellow sedentary IT folks need a little spring in their step, and am improvement to their health and outlook. :)

Beyond that, haven't had much to blog about, other than writing my articles for bleacherreport on the Dawgs. It's fun stuff, but the dog days of summer make things considerably less exciting. I've fallen behind, but a friend is connecting me with past Huskies, which is a cool angle to use for my articles.

A New Year, a New Outlook

So, here we are entering another offseason, and here's what I think I think:

The Raiders are semi-stable, but Davis is still at the helm. Is it wrong for me to be nervous about the Indy Combine, and that whoever is fastest will end up on our team. . again. Or maybe a chubby QB who can throw 80 yards from his butt-ocks.

On the flip side, I'm very stoked for the Dawgs Spring game. Sarkisian has restocked the cupboards, Locker's coming back, and the Pac-10 is ripe for the taking. . . Go DAWGS!!

I bark for Sark and I'd also talk for WAK!!! Go Mariners!! Definitely on the upside there. . .

And a 2nd year of Sounders FC can't be bad!

It looks like it could be a good year to be a Dawg/Mariner fan!!
